Optimum monitor resolution
Our Internet appearance has been optimised for a monitor resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. If you use a lower resolution and would like to change it, you will find a description of the necessary steps below.
We recommend that you print this page before changing the resolution. Use the print version of this page for this purpose.
Change monitor resolution under Windows
If you wish to change the resolution of your monitor, please carry out the following steps:
Move the mouse to a free area of your desktop. Press the right-hand mouse key and select the menu point "Properties". A window with the title "Properties of Display" appears. Choose the "Settings" tab in this window. In the lower area, you see a slide with the title "Resolution". Select the new resolution 1024 x 768 there. Then press the "OK" or "Accept" button
Confirm the corresponding message with "OK". The screen then changes to the new resolution. If the change has worked, you now see a small window with the question whether you wish to keep the new monitor resolution. Confirm this message with "YES". That is the end of the change. You can now close all the windows. If your monitor does not generate a correct image, then please wait for 15 seconds. After that, your old settings are reinstated. In this case, your graphic card does not support a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels or you have not installed the correct graphic drivers.
